I’m not a Thanksgiving traveler. As venturing out into a packed airport or trying to drive in holiday traffic gives me anxiety, I typically stick close to home base during the holidays. I appear to be in the minority however, as every year millions of people travel countless miles to be with loved ones for Thanksgiving. With so many people navigating the map, it’s stressful trying to simply get from point A to point B. Fortunately, BusBank has broken down common trends among Thanksgiving travelers and provided a roadmap of the most trafficked routes during Thanksgiving break. The graphic indicates a majority of Thanksgiving travelers prefer to drive, with the busiest routes being through I-95 near New York, then routes through Boston followed by routes through Chicago. If you plan to venture out this Thanksgiving, good luck. In the meantime, you can find me on my couch.
