Mark Your Calendar and #EmbraceEquity

This Wednesday, March 8 is International Women’s Day (IWD) and the 2023 campaign theme is #EmbraceEquity to get the world talking about why "equal opportunities are no longer enough" and can in fact be exclusionary, rather than inclusive. So, give equity a huge embrace.

In addition to several activities planned, the entire month is decorated with webinars, events, and celebrations across industries and organizations. Here is a round up of a few to add to your calendar:

March 16 | 5:15 - 7:30 p.m. PDT

She got to the C Suite―the top of her game―and she’s famous for leaning in hard. She doesn’t need a microphone to be heard in a boardroom (or a ballroom for that matter). She creates new rules and doesn’t suffer fools. She is a badass boss. And while fierce, she is far from ferocious. She Runs It in Los Angeles will hear from intrepid leaders who are shattering the glass ceiling and pulling others up to join them. This is lessons learned and velvet glove strategies for building teams, breaking through barriers, and earning admiration of colleagues. The session will include a panel discussion followed by intimate group mentoring conversations hosted by senior executives in marketing, media, and tech.
